Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Jetway processes information when you download, install, access, or use the App and related services, and how you can manage your information.

Principle
Data minimization
Traffic
Not used for profiling

Our principle: We process only information necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the service. We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral analysis, or profiling, and we do not sell personal information.

01

Scope and Your Consent

This Policy applies to the Jetway iOS app, in-app subscriptions, account and service-configuration APIs, and the network connection service. Apple, the App Store, and third-party websites or services have their own privacy practices and policies.

When you first use the App, you may be asked to accept or decline this Policy. If you decline, the App will not continue to provide its core services. You may stop using the service and uninstall the App at any time.

02

Information We Process

Depending on the features you use, we may process the following categories of information:

  • Device and app information: a device identifier used by the service, device model, operating-system version, app version, system language, in-app language, country or region, and App Store storefront.
  • Account and entitlement information: a generated user identifier, access token, plan or membership type, membership expiration, traffic quota, and used traffic.
  • Subscription and transaction information: product identifier, order or transaction identifier, original transaction identifier, purchase and expiration times, transaction status, price, and currency supplied through StoreKit. Apple processes payment-card details and complete payment credentials; we do not receive them.
  • Connection and service information: selected destination, gateway, routing mode, destination address and port, and service configuration. The infrastructure may receive your source IP address, request time, and basic request metadata needed to establish and protect the connection.
  • Support information: information you voluntarily provide when seeking support through an available support channel.

The App does not require your real name, address book, photos, precise location, microphone, or camera to provide its core network-connection functions.

03

Information Stored on Your Device

The App may store the following information locally on your device:

  • theme, language, privacy-consent state, selected destination, and routing mode;
  • DNS and TLS settings, local mappings, rewrite rules, scripts, and local configuration text;
  • Footprint records, such as destinations, connection count, recent connection time, and total duration; and
  • an access token and resource-version information used to maintain the service session and configuration.

Footprint records are intended to remain on your device and are not uploaded to us. You can clear them in the App. Uninstalling the App generally removes data in its local container, subject to device backups and platform behavior.

04

VPN Traffic and Accessed Content

To provide a VPN connection, the App and relay infrastructure must process network packets in transit for encryption and routing. We do not use VPN traffic for advertising, behavioral analysis, or profiling.

We do not intentionally create records of your browsing history or URL list, traffic payloads, DNS-query history, or an activity profile that links accessed content to your account or device identifier.

DNS settings, mappings, rewrite rules, or scripts that you configure may change how traffic is processed on your device. Third-party DNS providers, scripts, websites, and destinations operate under their own practices. You are responsible for assessing their trustworthiness.

05

How We Use Information

We use information only as reasonably necessary to:

  • create, authenticate, and maintain your service account and entitlements;
  • deliver destination directories, configurations, secure connections, and service status;
  • process, restore, and verify App Store purchases and subscriptions;
  • remember your settings and provide requested features;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, attacks, and unauthorized access;
  • troubleshoot compatibility, performance, and stability issues;
  • respond to support requests; and
  • comply with applicable legal obligations and protect users, the service, and our rights.
06

Sharing, Service Providers, and Third Parties

We do not sell or rent personal information.

We may share or make information available only when necessary in the following circumstances:

  • Apple and the App Store: to offer products, process payments and subscriptions, verify transactions, restore purchases, and handle refunds under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices.
  • Cloud, control-plane, and relay providers: to operate account APIs, deliver configurations and entitlements, and route encrypted traffic. They receive only information necessary to perform those functions.
  • Professional advisers, transaction successors, or authorities: when required for professional advice, a corporate transaction, compliance with a valid legal request, or another lawful basis.

We do not control third-party websites, apps, DNS services, scripts, or content that you choose to access or use. Please review their privacy practices before using them.

07

Data Retention

Retention depends on the type of information and why it is needed:

  • local settings and Footprint records remain on your device until you clear, reset, or uninstall the App;
  • account, entitlement, and necessary transaction records may be retained during the service relationship and afterward as needed for settlement, disputes, security, fraud prevention, and legal obligations;
  • support records may be retained as needed to resolve the request and maintain service history; and
  • limited infrastructure logs may be retained for the period necessary for security and troubleshooting, then deleted, aggregated, or de-identified where appropriate.

We assess retention based on the information’s nature, sensitivity, operational need, risk, and applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we delete, aggregate, or de-identify it unless retention is legally required.

08

Data Security

We use safeguards proportionate to the relevant risks, including transport protection, encryption for control-plane requests where appropriate, access controls, and data minimization. No system or transmission method is completely secure. If a security incident occurs, we will investigate, remediate, and provide notice where required by law.

You should protect your device, Apple account, Jetway identifiers, and access token, and avoid sharing credentials with others.

09

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and to withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal, but some or all services may no longer be available.

You can manage available settings in the App, clear Footprint records, and manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple. To submit a privacy request, use the support channel shown on the App Store product page or an available in-app help center.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Rights relating to Apple’s purchase or payment records should be exercised through Apple.

10

Children

The service is not directed to children under 17. If you are not legally able to consent to this Policy on your own, do not use the App without consent and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that we collected information from a child in circumstances not permitted by law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the App, our processing practices, or applicable law. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice through an in-app prompt, an update to this page, or another reasonable method.

Please read this Policy together with the Jetway Terms of Use.
